Europalco’s goal was to build a new website where users could easily select in a catalogue the products and solutions for their events. It was also important to show their large portfolio without compromising the user experience and the performance, in order to set them apart from the competition. Other requirements included integration with other softwares, a client login area and specific templates to allow Europalco to create and manage their own content.
There’s a parallelism between building a website and finding a solution for an event. In both cases we go through 3 stages: define the requirements, build the concept and implement the product or event. Following this path, we defined a clear navigation structure, and designed the website highlighting the product catalogue, portfolio and blog. To differentiate Europalco’s website we proposed a complete redesign with motion graphics elements.
After researching and understanding Europalco’s users needs, we crafted a plan based on the best practices of UX Design. UX is a phase that will plow all the information in detail: Who are the people who access the site? What is the user flow? What are their objectives? Then we organised all the collected information, discussed the available options and created sketches and wireframes.
The stage of creating an interface for interaction, graphically inspired in the brand’s principles, and define the use of animation is the UI Design stage. The graphic concept and the interactions follow the requirements defined in the UX phase.
Animating secondary elements is a great way to visually enrich a website without using excessive resources, which can lead to increased loading times. We added digital interactions and animated illustrations to bring movement and dynamism to the site.
The technical resources were identified and the developers materialised all the project. The back-end development team developed the logic behind the website based on the defined requirements and the front-end developers team built out the user interface. The implementation of a CMS ensured Europalco could update and manage their website autonomously.
A dynamic and modern website with an easy-to-use product catalog focused on the user experience.
By improving the user experience, giving users the chance to browse and easily select their products, Europalco increased revenue through conversion and retention.
