The Briefing

Technically Speaking

Celfocus uses case studies and white papers to help present their services and products. Our job is to help not only to give visual consistency across all documents and make them evolve but also to increase visual engagement and readability for these very technically-detailed documents.

The Gamechanger


After we get to understand the topic in discussion, we focus on achieving the results that make sense for the users. In every project, we always take time to understand what the documents are about and to best display them. We work hand-in-hand with the client to produce outputs that make the most sense – which terms to highlight, which content or infographics to design - creating visual hierarchies for users.

The Process

Simplicity and Branding

Most of Celfocus’ subjects are technical and complex. Thus, maintaining simple page structures and making the most of the brand colours (for example, to divide sections within the same paper) allow us to find a variety of solutions for the content at hand.

The Power of Iconography

When we consider technical content such as technological architectures and processes, icons and infographics play a pretty important role in sending the right message. We work to present those graphics in a simpler and easier way, so that there is no room for doubt.

Here’s an example of an infographic that, together with Celfocus, we turned into a “oh! I see it now!” white paper.

We All Need Colours

Colours are great – they help us to process content hierarchy and differentiate subjects at the blink of an eye, without putting too much thought in it. For that reason we make the most of all Celfocus’ brand colours. Being the main brand colour (and so different from the competition), red has rightfully earned the spotlight.
